On Site Assessment Training OSAT

The construction industry demands a fully trained, fully qualified workforce.
A workforce with the necessary skills and qualifications to deliver higher quality, cost-efficient work.
An improved and increased awareness of health and safety, earlier completion dates, a right first time culture with reduced accidents statistics

Roofing benefit too. Being trained to a nationally recognised standard, such as an National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) shows employers they have the necessary skills to do the job, combined with an up to date health and safety test, working at height. They can obtain a Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) card.

Clients, Principle Contractors and roofing companies require that operatives prove their competence with a card scheme membership.

You may already have a highly experienced and skilled workforce who get the job done, but often, these workers don't have the any prove of qualifications. To get the experianced worker CSCS card they will need to obtain a minimum of a Level 2 National Vocational Qualification. One route to this is by on site accessment, were the operative is observed by a qualified assessor carrying out their normal work activities, combined with the neccesary Job knowledge questioning, support evidence, photographs, witness testimony and employer endorsement.

THIS IS WHY OSAT HAS BEEN CREATED. .(see also EWPAR)
